- What a difference a year makes.
Check out the Winter Festival on Flickr. Over a foot of snow fell in October 2011 in Grafton. Although it is not out of the ordinary for Grafton to see snow in October, it is a bit unusual to see two back to back storms with moderate accumulations. The last moderate accumulation of snow in Grafton in the month of October was in 2008. What a difference a year makes. Last year we had incredible amounts of snow and this year it was a very lean winter, as far as snowfall is concerned. March was the warmest it has ever been for the month of March. Again, what a difference a year makes.
