Town Voicemail System.

In an effort to better improve the communications between our residents and our Town Officials, we have installed a Telephone Voicemail System.

The system allows residents to leave voicemail messages for any number of the Town Officials at any time.

Durring regular business hours, Suzanne Putnam will answer our main phone number and can foward the call to the appropriate person if that person is in. If not in, she can foward the caller to theappropriate voicemail box and the caller can leave their message. The Main Town Hall number is 279-3565.

After regular business hours, callers can select from one of eight menu options and leave their message.

The after hour menu options are as follows:

Press 1 for the Town Clerk
Press 2 for the Town Justice
Press 3 for the Assessors
Press 4 for the Town Supervisor
Press 5 for the Building Inspector/Code Enforcment Officer
Press 6 for the Highway Superintendent
Press 7 for the Recycling Center
Press 8 for the Dog Control Officer

Most of the positions listed above are part-time positions, so the time that they are reachable at the Town Hall is limited. The Voice Mail Sytem will allow better access to them by the town residents.Officals will check their messages frequently, so this will reduce the time that it takes for them to respond to your calls.
